i-sense researcher, Dr Natascha Kappeler has been invited to talk at the 2015 Royal Pharmaceutical Society Annual Conference in September this year. 

Natascha will present the i-sense vision and her work with Rachel's McKendry's group at the London Centre for Nanotechnology, to develop next generation mobile technologies. She will also highlight her exciting work on developing sensors for the nanomechanical detection of bacteria, which could help improve antibiotic stewardship. 

Natascha Kappeler is a postdoctoral researcher associate, working on bacterial infections for i-sense.  Her research focuses on multidisciplinary approaches for the diagnosis and monitoring of infectious diseases, particularly influenza and bacterial infections, therapeutic drug monitoring and antibiotic stewardship.

The 2015 RPS Annual Conference is the leading cross sector pharmacy conference in the UK. Exploring key issues that affect Community, Hospital, Academia and Education, as well as Industry, the Conference brings together the current and future leaders in the pharmacy profession. Natascha's talk will aim to stimulate pharmacists to think about how mobile technology changes healthcare in terms of diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
