Diluka Peiris is a Senior Bio-nanotechnology Research Laboratory Manager for i-sesnse at UCL. She has more than 10 year of experience in managing labs both in academic and industrial settings.

Diluka completed her PhD in Biochemistry at University of Westminster and started working as a post-doctoral researcher at the same place. During her post-doctoral training she investigated molecular markers for early diagnosis of metastatic cancers. Following this Diluka joined a Swedish-based Biosensor development company as a senior application specialist where she was responsible for managing Company’s UK based lab and providing application and technical support for customers.
